Forgotten Birthdays Insult My Intelligence

You may have noticed that Christmas has arrived.  On this day, we celebrate the giving of presents and the eating of food and the drinking of wine.  Lots of wine.   We celebrate it as a day for family and friends and presents and more presents.

However, as many of you know, Christmas is also a day for remembrance.  Let us all take a moment to sit back and reflect on the true significance of the man who was born today, the man who still looms large all these years later.  The man who, according to his disciples, worked miracles.

And so…

Let the choirs sing hallelujah to celebrate the birthday of the one and only Grinch.  May he not get hit by too many moldy tomatoes… even though the red and green combo is kind of festive this time of year.

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.

Oh wait, I’m terribly sorry.  That’s Karl Rove.  Happy birthday Mr. Rove.

And to all my readers: may your Christmas be indescribable.
