I had a dream. I was walking around in Innsbruck, Austria and I discovered a crystal blue river. I followed that river because it provided a most excellent view of the town on the other side:
However, as you can see from this picture, there was a problem. Nature was interfering by getting between me and nature.
That’s not a misprint. Nature got in the way of nature in my dream. I suppose that means those leaves must have a compelling psychological significance.
If you read this blog regularly, you already know that I’m not into deeper contemplations that might bring about inspiration or anything like that. So the interpretation of my dream is very simple… and I’m sure you’ll let me know what it is once you figure it out.

I think you subconsciously dream about owning a boat.
That’s possible. I hope I also dream about knowing how to steer a boat. It has been a decade since I went canoeing or rafting.

That old thing, “You can’t get there from here.” As my dad said, that’s always true.
You can always get there from here. It just depends on how indirect your route is.
No, you can’t. “There” in your mind is always different from “there” in real life and the process of getting there usually changes a person so that the person who started out isn’t quite the same person who arrives.
I thought it was “there” in your mind isn’t “their” in real life, neither of which are represented by the “they’re” on the hurriedly completed essay. 😉
There are so many ways to interpret this, here, too; also, they’re so many ways to interpret this, and their interpretation is different from theirs. It’s a huge mess.
There there, you poor English teacher. 😉
Thank you. I definitely need consolation.

She’s pulling that stuff a lot with me lately, too. 😀
Does lifting weights help?
hahahaha — if anything, weightlifting makes your dreams weirder. 😀
How rude of nature to insult your intelligence in this way!!
janet
I know! Nature must bend to my will.

I love Innsbruck… and once again, I admire your ability to have a problem with just about anything.
Why thank you. 🙂
However, I haven’t yet figured out a way to have a problem with being selected for Freshly Pressed. I’m sure I’ll come up with something…
It is a mystery sure enough
